Steal A Tree Base Upgrades: Costs, Effects, and Buy Order
Compare Steal A Tree base upgrades — Expand Plot, Juice / Customer, and Juice Income — with documented tier costs and a practical purchase order so you know what to buy next.
The plot has three base upgrade tracks in Steal A Tree, and each does a genuinely different job. Expand Plot adds planting spots, which raises your ceiling. Juice / Customer raises how much juice each NPC buys per visit, and Juice Income multiplies what that juice is worth. Upgrades are purchased from the shop controls above the plot on the main garden view.

Purchase priority: keep plot expansion and income in step
Do not expand the plot before you have saplings waiting to plant — that is wasted money — and stockpiling saplings you cannot plant is wasted running. Keep the two roughly in step: expand when you are bringing home trees you have nowhere to put. Otherwise, spend on whichever side of the loop is holding you back: if the farm is full and the customer queue never stops, expand; if gnomes keep taking your saplings, buy speed instead.
How plot upgrades feed the income loop
Base upgrades matter because cash from juice sales is your entire income stream: grown trees shed fruit automatically into the fruit juice vat, and NPC customers queue up to buy that juice for cash. That means the number of planted trees (Expand Plot) sets the ceiling, while Juice / Customer and Juice Income multiply what each visit pays out. Purchasing plot upgrades also feeds the Upgrade Master quest chain (Upgrade Master 1 and 2 track plot and treadmill upgrades purchased).
