Steal A Tree Quests: Known Chains and What Each Tracks
Steal A Tree quest reference covering the known Coin Collector, Juice Seller, Upgrade Master, and Sapling Hunter chains, what each tracks, and how they progress during normal play.
Steal A Tree quests run in numbered chains that clear passively while you play the normal loop — stealing saplings, planting them, and selling juice. The chains documented so far track cash milestones, juice sold, upgrades purchased, and saplings stolen by type. Exact per-stage thresholds and reward amounts are not published, so treat this as a chain reference rather than a stage-by-stage walkthrough, and recheck the quest panel after game updates.
Known quest chains and what each tracks
- Coin Collector 1, 2, 3 — cash milestones
- Juice Seller 1, 2, 3 — juice sold to customers
- Upgrade Master 1, 2 — plot and treadmill upgrades purchased
- Plains Sapling Hunter — Plains Saplings stolen
- Flowerfield Sapling Hunter — Flowerfield Saplings stolen
This list covers the chains documented so far; it isn't confirmed to be exhaustive, and new chains may appear with updates.
How quest progress works
Quests are one of three free reward streams alongside daily rewards (starting Day 1 on first login) and playtime rewards, which pay out cash, speed, and saplings. The chains mirror the core loop, so no dedicated grinding is required for most of them — selling juice advances Juice Seller, buying upgrades advances Upgrade Master, and normal stealing advances the Sapling Hunter chains. In practice, quest completion and normal progression draw on the same systems: named sapling varieties such as the Plains Sapling and Flowerfield Sapling also turn up as quest and playtime rewards, and cash from Coin Collector milestones feeds the same economy as juice sales.
What the Sapling Hunter objectives involve
The Sapling Hunter chains track saplings stolen by type, which is the game's core errand and its riskiest activity. Gnomes patrol the active zone and only aggro while you're carrying a stolen sapling; if one catches you mid-carry, you're knocked down and the sapling is gone with no recovery. Speed is the counter, raised via the treadmill stat and flat-multiplier trails from the Trail Shop (Grey 1.5x at 1K, Green 2x at 25K, Purple 2.5x at 100K). Investing in speed before grinding steals by type makes the Sapling Hunter chains considerably safer to push through.
What counts toward Upgrade Master
Upgrade Master tracks plot and treadmill upgrades purchased, which draw from the same upgrade tracks as normal progression:
| Upgrade | Example tier | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Juice / Customer | 2.0x | 25,000 cash |
| Juice / Customer | 3.0x | 125,000 cash |
| Juice Income | 1.1x | 10,000 cash |
| Expand Plot | First expansion | 15,000 cash |
| Expand Plot | Second expansion | 150,000 cash |
| Treadmill (Iron) | Tier 2 | 50,000 cash |
| Treadmill (Golden) | Tier 3 | 500,000 cash |
Because quest requirements and rewards can change with game updates, check the quest panel in-game for the current stage thresholds and payout details for any chain before planning around them.
